Directions for Installing Global Protect VPN Client
These instructions will take you through the necessary steps to install the new Global Protect VPN client. This client is required in order for you to establish a VPN to iNDEMAND's corporate network. The VPN will allow you to access files and e-mail remotely through the Internet.
To install you must have the following items:
PC with the following minimum requirements:
- Pentium class processor or greater
- 512 MB RAM or better
- 400 MB of free Hard Disk Space
- Windows XP, Vista, 7 or 8
- AntiVirus software from a top vendor must be installed (Symantec/Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro, or Kaspersky)
- Virus definitions must be up to date
Global Protect VPN Client for PC
Click here to download the Global Protect software (64bit).
Click here to download the Global Protect software (32bit).
When prompted click Run
At the Welcome screen click Next
Select “Browse” if you want to change the default installation location and click Next
Click Next to start installation
If User Access Control is enabled on your PC you will be prompted to allow changes. Click Yes
Click Close to complete the installation
From the Start Menu click on the Global Protect Client shortcut
In the settings: Enter your Username, Password and vpn.indemand.com in the Portal field and click Apply
You have now established a VPN connection to iN DEMAND’s NYC network
You can check the status of your session by hover over the Global Protect icon.
Or Click on the Global Protect icon and go the Status tab.
To Disconnect – right click on the Global Protect icon and select Disconnect
